The yearly appointment with the Florence Bike Festival, now with the brand new name FlorencE-Bike Festival, will happen at the Parco delle Cascine from 13 to 15 April.
It is a three-day festival dedicated entirely to the world of bicycles and expecially e-bikes. In the green area of the city, the ideal place for doing many sports including, obviously, biking on the extensive bike paths through the park, thousands of visitors who share the passion and the joy of riding their bicycles are expected to participate.
There will be a great variety of activities with attractions for all - families and children, passionate bikers, tourist bikers and city bikers - and all conditions of form. Exhibitions, an expo village of the leading companies in the sector and free trials along protected obstacle courses.
The key event will be held on Sunday 15 April - the Granfondo Firenze De Rosa. Over 3000 bikers will race 134 km to the mountains in Mugello, with the finish line on the mythical climb on Via Salviati, the one of the 2013 World Championship.
During three days the Cascine Park will held the Bike Expo, or a real specialistic fair for buying or trying bikes, accessories, sport food and drinks.
