The International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing, China is an A1-category international horticultural exhibition hosted by the Chinese Government and organized by Beijing Municipal Government. The Expo 2019 will be held in Beijing, China from April 29 to October 7, with the theme of “Live Green, Live Better.” The Expo will be an important stage for demonstrating the achievements of China's ecological civilization construction and promoting international exchanges and cooperation in green industries; an important opportunity to promote the concept of green development, boost the way of economic development and the transformation of residents’ lifestyles; and a vivid practice of building a beautiful China. It has been confirmed that 110 countries and international organizations as well as more than 120 non-official participants including well-known institutions of higher learning, research institutes, professional associations, enterprises, and others will attend the exhibition. The audience is expected to amount to 16 million visitors throughout the duration of the Expo.

The Expo activities will be splendid. During the day for the professional audience, senior leaders of the Chinese government and heads of government from different nations will have a special tour of the Expo, buyers and sellers of the tourism industry will conduct one-on-one exchanges, travel route products will be sold on site, special promotion of tourist destinations will be held, the media publicity and visit day will be held, and so on. During the day for the regular audience, activities such as souvenir exhibition and sales, destination interactive experience, quiz contests with prizes, gardening display, and other activities will be held.
