On July 12, the press conference for the WTCF Qingdao Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2018 was held in Beijing. Jointly hosted by WTCF and Qingdao Municipal Government, the summit will be held at Qingdao Shangri-La Hotel, with the theme of “Orient Industry Trends, Brand Tourism Cities”.

. The brand building of tourism cities is a process of constant innovation of idea, technology, and methods.

2. Strengthen the guiding force of WTCF. Targeting the summit’s theme, WTCF will release two research reports: Annual Report on Development of World Tourism Cities and Market Research Report on Chinese Outbound Tourist (City) Consumption, and print and distribute the UNWTO/WTCF City Tourism Performance Research, jointly launched by WTCF and UNWTO, to navigate the sustainable development of tourism cities and guide overseas destinations to serve the Chinese outbound market. 3. Promote member cooperation, and boost industrial development. This year’s summit will have four main market-oriented activities including exhibition, tourism promotion, tourism fair, and investment negotiation, which aims to improve cooperation between cities and cities, cities and institutions, as well as institutions and institutions. This year the organizer specially set up the tourism investment and financing conference during the summit to provide a cooperation platform for tourism cities and companies from all over the world.
