IV. Laoshan and World Horticultural Expo Tour

Laoshan (Mount Lao) is located near the East China Sea on the southeastern coastline. This tall and majestic mountain is famous for its marvelous mountainous scenery and coastal landscape. One of the most famous points in Mt. Lao is the legendary Taiqing Gong (Taiqing Palace), which is the oldest Taoist palace in Laoshan. This palace is also reputed as the second most magnificent Taoist building in China and has many Taoist legends and stories left there, which makes this beautiful and wonderful destination more mysterious. The International World Horticultural Expo was held in Qingdao in 2014. At the base of the expo site and the dozens of pavilions built by all different countries, the new Qingdao Expo Park was built. It is now a national 4-A level scenic spot. In recent years, featured themed activities such as the beer carnival were held in the Qingdao World Expo Park, which make this place a more open and lively tourist destination in Qingdao.
