The 4th Short film of Taiyuan Tourism Released

On December 7th, the short film “My Homesickness----Shanxi Noodle”, invested in and shot by Taiyuan Tourism Development Committee, was released online. This is the 4th short film after “The Impression of Taiyuan, Dream City of Green Mountains and Rivers”, “Dreaming of Jinci - Through Three Thousand Years of Love”, and “Romance of Vinegar”. The new short film will broadcasted through well-known video site such as, Tencent, iQiyi, Youku, Tudou, and Le.com.

The main storyline of the short film revolves around knife-cut noodles, noodles with gravy, hand-made noodles, and city changes with Taiyuan as the main setting of the film. The story is about a person named Qinjin, who settled abroad for many years with his wife and mother. Qinjin’s mother learned to make noodle from uncle Li when she was young. After she lived abroad with her son in her old age, she missed her hometown’s noodles very much. The history and culture of Taiyuan, and the noodle culture blends together in this short film. The film’s objective is to promote the influence of city tourism brand as well as the popularity of Shanxi Noodles.
