The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. In Xinjiang, China, this festival is celebrated by the Uygur people, the Hui people, the Kazakh people, and the Tartar people and so on.
