Known as “Aoshan Daxiaodongtian” in the ancient time, Daxiaodongtian was hailed as the top of the eight views for its splendid sights, including beautiful ocean views, mountain views and rock formations and etc. Originally established during the Southern Song dynasty, Dongtian Park has been a major attraction for visitors to Hainan Island for 800 years, famous as “The First Scenic Spots Mountains and Water”. This place is a scenic mixture of rocks and sand. Stone structures with inscriptions on them are a regular sight. Moreover, there are all sorts of wild animals and clear streams in the mountain.
