Located on Yide Road in the center of Guangzhou City, Sacred Heart Cathedral is the most magnificent and distinctive cathedral in Catholic Archdiocese of Guangzhou. It took 25 years to build the cathedral. Completed in 1888, the cathedral has a history of over 130 years. Its walls and pillars are made of granite. The surroundings of the cathedral are colorful with evergreen trees and blooming flowers all the year round.

Sunday (Public opening day): 7:00-10:00

Mass schedule: Monday-Saturday, the first Mass at 6:30, and the second at 7:00; Saturday, 19:00 (in Mandarin); Sunday, the first Mass at 6:30, the second at 8:30 and the third at 22:30 (in English)
