Broad Avenue Jean Medecin represents new buildings in Nice; both sides are lined with banks, office buildings, and department stores. Place Massena is run by French Lafayette department store; it is the second branch to be opened after the first one in Paris. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops there. There are also a lot of street performers during the afternoon. The blue coast is at the end of the square, when you walk along the blue coast seaside it will eventually lead you to British Avenue (Promenade des Anglais) on the right.
