The Museum Island, located in the arm of River Spree, is a must for anyone who wants to learn more about human history in Berlin. The Museum Island, which is listed as a World Heritage site has composed of five museums (Altes Museum, Bode Museum, Neues Museum, Pergamon Museum and Alte National Galerie), and holds precious treasures of more than 6,000 years of human history. Here, history and art perfectly intertwine with each other, with only a few steps away from the Ancient Egyptian civilization to the Eastern civilization.
