The Port of Hamburg as the gateway of Germany to the world, celebrates its birthday in May, Hamburg Port Anniversary. Every year, the Port Anniversary kicks off in the parade consisted of large sailboats and sailors in traditional costumes. During the festival, maritime-themed decorations adorn the streets of Hamburg to welcome tourists around the world. Many stages will be set up on the route from Speicherstadt to St. Pauli, providing visitors with wonderful performances. In addition, one can also see other events, such as boating competitions on the Elbe River, Schlepperballett and fireworks display during the festival. The Port Anniversary will end in a grand steamship parade.

Hamburg DOM

The iconic DOM is the biggest public festival in Northern Germany. DOM has been held three times a year, in the Heiligengeistfeld event area in the St. Pauli district. DOM is the perfect choice for family travel and group travel. Visitors can enjoy a variety of rides such as roller coaster, carousel, ghost train, etc. They can also visit 60 food stalls, 40 candy stalls and 15 bakeries, and taste delicious baked almonds and crepes. If tired, visitors can take a Ferris wheel to enjoy the city view of Hamburg or go to see the fireworks show on Friday night.
