Palace is now the summer palace of Queen Elizabeth II, descendant of Queen Elizabeth I, who prisoned Queen Mary of Scotland for 18 years then killed her at last. Local residents like to walk on the greenbelt in the morning sunshine. In the afternoon, I walked to the west and climbed up to the castle.
