During the Christmas season, when the scents of cinnamon and roasted almonds waft in the air, and when shops shine in the light, the City of Hamburg will show its grace.
The well-decorated shops in the downtown will make you think of the best gifts for yourself. One of the spotlights is no doubt Hamburg’s four Christmas parades. During the four Saturdays, colorful processions and well-decorated parade float vehicle will pull though the city center, and all the visitors will be stunned.
Santa Claus, Christmas Elves and reindeer will start from GALERIA Kaufhof / Saturn Market, go through Mönckebergstraße, and travel to Jungfernstieg. Hurry and make time for the wonderful event!

5. Boat of Fairy Tales in Hamburg

Before Christmas, port city Hamburg will specially hold the Boat of Fairy Tales for children. Since 33 years ago, the bank of Inner Alster (bank of Jungfernstieg) has been strongly expected by children during this time. It consists of five boats, and each one has its own free activities.
