Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport increases passenger traffic by 8.3% for the 10 months of 2019

In January-October 2019, Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport welcomed 16,861,087 passengers, which is 8.3% more than in the same period of 2018.

Russian carriers in terms of passenger numbers at Pulkovo. In total, they provided services to 1,027,785 passengers or 60.1% of the total traffic at St. Petersburg Airport for that period. Among foreign airlines, the leaders were Lufthansa, Belavia, Uzbekistan Airways, Turkish Airlines, and Finnair. In total, they handled 128,241 passengers at Pulkovo or 7.5% of the airport traffic in October 2019.

In October 2019, Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport welcomed the first tourists with e-visas. Wizz Air UK launched scheduled flights from St. Peterburg to London (Luton Airport).
