Oct 25: Daily briefing on novel coronavirus cases in China

On Oct 24, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 15 new cases of confirmed infections (all were imported cases, 5 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Liaoning province, 3 in Guangdong province, 2 in Shanxi province, 1 in Tianjin municipality and 1 in Shaanxi province), 1 new case of suspected infections (an imported case in Shanghai), and no deaths.

24, 5,885 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 5,289 in Hong Kong (105 had died and 5,041 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 550 in Taiwan (7 had died and 502 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
