Bellet, located at only 15 minutes from the city centre, one of oldest type of vines of France gives remarkable red, white and rosé wines, whose good reputation has since a long time exceeded the borders.
During his visit in Nice, the King Sun, Louis 14th choose Bellet as one of his favourite wine and made the decision to make sure it was always available at Versailles table’s.
This vineyards on the Nice hillside are open to the public, showing them the production process and demonstrating local cultures and traditional manufacturing methods. Indeed, the harvest are still made handmade as it was the case when the romans brought the first grapes in the region millenaries ago.
